Quantum fluidic charge density wave transport

نویسندگان

چکیده

We discuss charge density wave transport as the periodic flow of a quantum fluid electron–phonon correlates, viewed solitons, within condensate. Pair creation charged soliton droplets is prevented by their electrostatic energy below Coulomb-blockade threshold electric field. Above threshold, flows in drip-like fashion microscopic entities tunnel coherently from one charging macrostate to next. summarize time-correlated tunneling model and compare simulations coherent oscillations, narrow band noise, current–voltage characteristics with experiment. also explore possibility collective behavior at room temperature some materials. Finally, we potential applications information processing.

Charge density wave transport in inorganic linear chain compounds

2014 In quasi-one dimensional inorganic conductors such as the transition metal trichalcogenides NbSe3, TaS3, the tetrachalcogenides (TaSe4)2I, (NbSe4)10/3I and the molybdenum blue bronzes A0.30MoO3 (A = K, Rb, T1) a new collective transport by the macroscopic sliding of a so-called charge density wave through the lattice has been reported. We review the structural and electronic properties of ...

Charge density wave transport in irradiated orthorhombic TaS3

2014 Dynamic resistance, noise spectrum and electron diffraction studies on electron irradiated orthorhombic TaS3 were performed in the temperature range of 75 K-280 K. At low defect concentrations ( 10-4 displacement per Ta atoms) the threshold field of the nonlinear conductivity (ET) increases linearly with the irradiation dose in spite of the fact that there is hardly any effect on the Peier...

Charge Density Wave and Quantum Fluctuations in a Molecular Crystal

We consider an electron-phonon system in two and three dimensions on square, hexagonal and cubic lattices. The model is a modification of the standard Holstein model where the optical branch is appropriately curved in order to have a reflection positive Hamiltonian. Using infrared bounds together with a recent result on the coexistence of long-range order for electron and phonon fields, we prov...

Quantum Hall Effect in chiral d - wave charge density waves

We study the electromagnetic response of a chiral dxy + id x 2 −y 2 charge density wave state. Due to parity (P) and time reversal (T) violation, Chern-Simons terms emerge in the effective action of the U(1) gauge field. As a consequence electric and magnetic fields are coupled providing the possibility of observing the Spontaneous Quantum Hall Effect i.e. generation of Hall voltage via the sol...
